- "Fiɣ lanṯom zök ju, üjŋikom tömvom bunmen ja zöv zepoɣanti. Ɣö fiɣ tesom om lanom zök ju, mrem jintom ja. Intirom ji liḍ ju!"
-"Inzirom ja ṯe intmirom ha ju!"
-"Ḏirmö üatrek oṇrek zöv nu üjzükom hökmen jiŋ jevti zöv!"
-"Üjizom ka, ɣö jön küelmö zök ṭemɣo ztom kotom veik zöv."
Pilṭ zamih ka hu, aṇ zir zeḏüɣej.
Translation
The general went in, observed, and asked:
"What did you want to achieve, by bringing so few soldiers here?"
- "We want to defeat you."
- "Where are your other soldiers?"
- "They tried to find the person who swam the fastest, while they struggled."
- "If you help us, we may decide to let you govern the region. But if you betray us, you will certainly die. Put away your bow!"
- "Come here and take it!"
- "We have enough arrows to blacken the sky!"
- "That may happen, but soon the shadow will protect us when we attack you."
After saying this, the messenger left.
