Alpianic is a branch of Hesperic, a family of Indo-European diachronic fictional languages by Jörg Rhiemeier. It is currently in the planning stage; no Alpianic language has been worked out yet. The Alpianic branch is closely related to the Hercynian branch of Hesperic; both have a very similar grammatical structure and share several phonological innovations. In fact, some scholars even assume that Alpianic is a subgroup of Hercynian.
An obsolete version of Proto-Alpianic, the common ancestor of the Alpianic languages, is found here. It was made for the League of Lost Languages.
