Levonese
Levonese is a language of Jewish diaspora similar to Yiddish and Ladino. The language is a hybrid of Hebrew and Japanese. The language originated in the Levonese isles of Japan near Okinawa. All kanji terms are replaced with Hebrew words while Kana words are transcribed, although there are special Kanji for biblical terms.
Etymology
The name comes from the old Hebrew word לבנה (levanah) which means the moon.
