This script was developed specifically for writing in Paklikale as an alternative to the Roman alphabet.

The letters and numbers of Paklikale

The Characters

Similar shapes indicate sounds with the same manner of articulation. As for numerals, the characters directly express the numbers they stand for, with a vertical bar indicating zero, a horizontal bar five, and each line added onto the ends one. Punctuation is dramatically simplified from that used with Roman characters, serving the basic functions of separating, joining, or quoting text.

Cursive

In the cursive version of the script, characters are grouped by manner of articulation as above, and they each connect at their midpoint.

A letter by Robert Burns in Paklikale cursive.
