Ḱedigitëna žeš ḱidežda 'en ḱedamäždam'elkäšimma šitina.
Šetëžbazbin näblamli šiti ke'atom ši'adalzassëš las'o žeš ḱidežda 'en šetëdlazjaždin žeš siḱimesäh šidajannam titima žeš šiždäxsan la'aljas.
Šiti šetam'ažilmaṕos 'ozzen žeš šizezmamëš 'en siḱijažbasäš 'ižöhminšinëm.
Ja bazḱizažnas žbäs'inna 'ažazbas 'aṕengom 'en kedlazjaždin žeš siḱi'imtemän soz'a zannazli.
Tinglä mas'abilbiš tá 'oṕimazmaši žeš siḱimesän siḱijažbasäm 'ižöhminšinëm ṕassel nizgä zem'en'annissom siḱi'imtemäh ḱedaṕaz!

Please listen! Those children have climbed down from where they were restrained over there.
The longhouse had darkened and it was surprising to them.
They walk carefully on tiptoe (literally: on the fur of the toes) from the longhouse and their footprints resemble small monkeys.
They have dressed themselves with animal skins and leather slippers.
The weather now is very cold and very hard, and it resembles shiny white sand [snow?].
After a short while, the smooth leather slipper footprints of those children will be covered by the sand [snow?]!
