Snow covers the ground
Listen.
I've seen the children who last night fled to the calm holy place.
I was in front of my window, and so I looked from the blackness.
Listen.
Even though the moon's small light concealed them,
Their small eyes shone with fear because dawn was going to arrive.
They had hair and leather feet, and so they snuck like mice, and they made small footsteps.
So then, like winter's bite, the air began to be cold.
So I would see small light that wasn't the moon's.
Instead, I started to see the dawn's cheerful sky.
Snow had fallen for many days, so one memory, like how pain would be light, left to think about our sun.
The small footsteps like mice began to quickly flee, and the footsteps of the children of the forest were not organized.
