Adawa is an a posteriori language with influences from Quechua, Kinyarwanda, Welsh, and Arabic. It was created by Bruce Foerster. According to the language's creator, Adawa "... is uniquely suited to expressing the wide range of human thoughts and feelings" and "... better able to express anyone's deepest thoughts and feelings than any natural language."

It is written with the letters of the Sindarin alphabet.
