Greetings and Polite Expressions - Sa Warkar he Sa Molan Ilpur صا وارکار حه صا موْلان ى۬لٮوُر
- éla هلا, intrj. hello; ahoy.
- woreg mam ووْرهݢ مام, honored mother (lit. mother of honor), form of address by a younger person to an older woman.
- woreg bab ووْرهݢ باب, honored father (lit. father of honor), form of address by a younger person to an older man.
- em ker tikag هم کهر طى۬کاݢ, my heart's child, form of address by an older person to a younger child.
- (em) nohop (lun) هم نوْحوْٮ لوُن, thank you (very much) (lit., (I) thankful (very)).
- (em) apug هم اٮوُݢ, you're welcome (lit., (I) pleased).
- habel ha حابهل حا, excuse me (lit., may (I) pass?).
- rapit راٮى۬ط, stay well (lit. be well) [said by the one leaving].
- manes ropet مانهص روْٮهط, fare well [said to the one leaving].
- gapeg ݢاٮهݢ, please (lit. be pleased).

Modesty – Sa Dotet صا ظوْطهط
- Among the Liwadis genital modesty is the norm. One never appears in public with the genital region exposed, with one exception:
- Weather permitting, children up to the age of three years are not clothed indoors.
Bodily functions – Sa Gohiʻ ʻoṭgur صا ݢوْحى۬ع عوْدݢوُر
- Defecation and urination are done in private.
Hospitality – Sa Hupil صا حوُٮى۬ل
- Upon entering a home, a guest is offered a drink, whatever the homemaker has prepared. It is bad form to refuse this drink. This is offered with the expression ya wipod ىا وى۬ٮوْظ, an offering. The response is ya hińur ىا حى۬گوُر, an acceptance.
