Proto-Alpianic is the reconstructed common ancestor of the Alpianic languages, a branch of the Hesperic family, a family of diachronic conlangs by Jörg Rhiemeier.

Phonology

Consonants

  Labial Coronal Palatal Velar Glottal
Stops Voiceless Unaspirated *p *t   *k
Aspirated *p' *t'   *k'
Voiced Unaspirated *b *d   *g
Aspirated *b' *d'   *g'
Fricatives   *s     *h
Nasals *m *n   *ng
Laterals   *l   *l'
Rhotics   *r   *r'
Semivowels *w   *j *3

The phoneme *l' probably was a velarized lateral /ł/; *r' probably was a uvular rhotic /ʀ/. *3, which was rare, probably was an unrounded velar approximant /ɰ/. *h, like *l', *r' and *3 an outcome of Drummond's Law, probably originally was velar, but all Alpianic languages that preserve it do so as a glottal fricative.
