The candrabindu (alternative spellings chandrabindu, chandravindu, candravindu, and chôndrobindu) is used in Indic scripts, usually for marking vowel nasalization. Those scripts have their own code points for candrabindu in Unicode.[1] The candrabindu presented here is one that is used in the Latin alphabet for transliteration of Indic languages.
