Alpic /ˈælpik/, natively Elbettusa /ˈɛlbɛˌtːusa/, spoken in southeastern Switzerland, with most speakers living along the Inn River and near Davos. It is the sole surviving language of the Danubian language family which was once spoken throughout the Danube River basin.
