Serindian was an early conlang by Jörg Rhiemeier, developed ca. 1985. Serindian was the language of a fictional prehistoric advanced civilization originating in India, which colonized the world (including Atlantis), attained a level of technology which allowed them to colonize planets of nearby stars, before collapsing about 12,000 years ago.

Serindian was an agglutinating language whose inflectional categories (cases, tenses, etc.) were similar to those of German and Latin. Serindian had its own featural script, and was romanized using the Universal Transcription System.

Two daughter languages of Serindian, spoken on two colonial planets, were Ardenorian and Jagarathan. Of these, only Ardenorian was worked out to a substantial degree.

The project was cancelled when the author gave up the Dänikenian setting for which the language was intended.
