The Ældan are the only known intelligent life-form of Tændeus.
Etymology
The word "Ældan" comes from the plural of Avœnde ælda, meaning "person."
Physiology
The Ældan exhibit a less wide range of skin colors than humans, with lighter, somewhat reflective tones being found nearer to the equator and darker colors near the poles. In addition, skin colors tend to be more orange.
