The Upper-Tændeans were the first inhabitants of Tændeus, arriving on a peninsula of Upper Tændeus around the year -18,000. Due to their isolation from Inner Tændeus by the Grey Mountains, very little is known of their many cultures, the best known being the Jaxāŋa.
