Exolangs (also 'alien conlangs' or 'alien languages') are a subset of fictional languages which are meant to represent the languages which are spoken by fictional aliens. Exolangs commonly violate linguistic universals. Some of these languages may be impossible for humans to use due to the manner in which they are conveyed (telepathy, tentacle signing, light bursts, etc).
