Hailing from the southwest of Sandula, the ancestor of Fesian is little understood (if I'm being honest, it doesn't exist). Fesian had very regular morphological patterns and syntax that was very loose. Fesian's descendants are among the most spoken languages in modern Sandula.

This sound change is found in most of the Central Fesian languages, excluding the North and Northwest Central groups. /s/ following long vowels changed to /h/, eventually being dropped. /k(ː)/ shifted to /ʧ(ː)/ before front vowels, as did /g/ to /ʤ/. /n/ before velars shifted to /ŋ/.

Fesian was written in the Fesian alphabet, known natively as Statatris sen Fēstēlus. It is derived from the old Kalersan script.
