Earth is the home planet of our species. It is remarkable for being (so far as we know) the only planet in the galaxy to support complex life. Because of the inherent difficulties involved in 'creating' one's own planet, Earth has been a favorite of conworlders since time immemorial for 'housing' their conlangs and concultures.
