I'm an undergraduate student in anthropology and geography at Penn State University with an interest in linguistics and a hobby in conlanging and creating geofiction. My conlanging is somewhat separate from my geofiction because I enjoy implementing unrealistic grammatical and phonetic features in my conlangs but prefer realism in the histories of my fictional lands. My current conlanging project is a language in which the majority of lexical content is communicated by uninflected nominals, the majority of grammatical content is communicated by inflected auxiliary verbs, and correlatives reduce syntactic ambiguity by bracketing phrases. my current geofiction project is an alternate history in which the Australian continent is raised and its continental shelf exposed, allowing the development of agriculture and state societies in the ecotone between the Australian desert and Papuan rainforest.
