My name is Edward and I created a language called Throrish. Throrish is an artificial West Germanic language. Throrish has the orthography of Swedish, German, and Icelandic with a rich Anglo-Saxon vocabulary. The language has many calques from other Germanic languages; thus the lexicon has shaped into its own style of spelling. The language's name in Throrish is Þrorisk; which comes from the kenning Þrór meaning "Burgeoning, thriving". This kenning is one of the many names for "Odin".
