Not unless you're a learner!
New First Stage Description
Syllables with initial p, t, k, or q are high tone. Syllables with other initial consonants or no initial consonant are low tone and breathy voiced. Since tone, phonation, and initial consonant co-vary, there is no need in First Stage to explicitly mark tone.
