Cažorih is one of the languages belonging to Alri language family. It belongs to the branch, named Foħθīri languages and it stems directly from Foħθīrix language. It has an alphabetical script.

Typological structure

Cažorih is a morphologically fusive language, with some agglutinative features.

The basic word order is essentially SOV (Subject-Object-Verb).

Some typological parameters are set according to the modifier-head (or head-final) type :

  • object - verb
  • adjective - noun
  • relative clause - noun

Other typological parameters are set according to the head-modifier (or head-initial) type:

  • preposition - noun
  • relative clause - noun (in some dialectal forms)
