Bislamanir is a northern country on the planet Irfik.
The country is pretty vast, and home to the largest desert on Irfik, the Sanani (Сӑнӑнэ). The country's capital, Dirsthir (Дусту), is the most industrialised city on the planet.
The country's supply of water comes from desalination plants placed around the coast.
The official language of Bislamanir is Bisla'ikh.
Wastelands
Throughout the centre of Bislamanir stretches the Sanani Desert, a vast scrub that has annual summer temperatures raging to 54°C (129°F)
One of the oddest features of the desert lies about a kilometer away from the Mirsik Mountains (Мусэка) and is known to the Bisirs as 'Dirbulak Ngalame' (Дубалӑк Нкӑлӑме) or Angel Rock and it is a large boulder of sheer marble lodged in the sediment. No scientist has ever come up with a logical explanation as to why it is there. Below is a picture:
While Angel Rock delights in relative shade in that picture, it scorches throughout the day. many a lost traveller, explorer or even scientist has perished in the deserts unforgiving heat. There is a legend that the great Southern Bismic Conqueror, Alsimor II feared an attack from the Northern Bismics, he diverted his troups through the desert. Eventually getting hopelessly lost and perishing in the endless wastes.
