Literal translation of the Hebrew text
- 1: A psalm of thanksgiving. Shout joyfully to JHWH all the land.
- 2: Serve JHWH with gladness. Come before his face with singing.
- 3: Know that JHWH he (is) God. He has made us and not we his people and the sheep of his pasture.
- 4: Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, his courts with praise. Be thankful to him, bless his name.
- 5: For JHWH (is) good, his mercy (is) evelasting. And his faithfulness (is) unto generation and generation.
