- 1: Καὶ σημεῖον μέγα ὤφθη ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ, γυνὴ περιβεβλημένη τὸν ἥλιον,
- And sign great was.seen in the heaven, woman having.been.clothed.with the sun,
- καὶ ἡ σελήνη ὑποκάτω τῶν ποδῶν αὐτῆς, καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς κεφαλῆς αὐτῆς στέφανος ἀστέρων δώδεκα,
- and the moon underneath the feet of.her, and on the head of.her crown of.stars twelve,
- 2: καὶ ἐν γαστρὶ ἔχουσα, καὶ κράζει ὠδίνουσα καὶ βασανιζομένη τεκεῖν.
- and in womb having, and she.cries suffering.birth.pangs and being.in.pain to.give.birth.
- 3: καὶ ὤφθη ἄλλο σημεῖον ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ, καὶ ἰδοὺ δράκων μέγας πυρρός,
- And was.seen other sign in the heaven, and behold a.dragon great red,
- ἔχων κεφαλὰς ἑπτὰ καὶ κέρατα δέκα καὶ ἐπὶ τὰς κεφαλὰς αὐτοῦ ἑπτὰ διαδήματα,
- having heads seven and horns ten and on the heads of.him seven diadems,
- 4: καὶ ἡ οὐρὰ αὐτοῦ σύρει τὸ τρίτον τῶν ἀστέρων τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ ἔβαλεν αὐτοὺς εἰς τὴν γῆν.
- And the tail of.him drags the third of.the stars of.the heaven and threw them to the earth.
- καὶ ὁ δράκων ἕστηκεν ἐνώπιον τῆς γυναικὸς τῆς μελλούσης τεκεῖν,

- ἵνα ὅταν τέκῃ τὸ τέκνον αὐτῆς καταφάγῃ.

- 5: καὶ ἔτεκεν υἱόν, ἄρσεν, ὃς μέλλει ποιμαίνειν πάντα τὰ ἔθνη ἐν ῥάβδῳ σιδηρᾷ:
- And she.bore son, male, who is.on.the.point.of to.shepherd all the nations with rod iron.
- καὶ ἡρπάσθη τὸ τέκνον αὐτῆς πρὸς τὸν θεὸν καὶ πρὸς τὸν θρόνον αὐτοῦ.
- And was.snatched.up the child of.her to the God and to the throne of.him.
- 6: καὶ ἡ γυνὴ ἔφυγεν εἰς τὴν ἔρημον, ὅπου ἔχει ἐκεῖ τόπον ἡτοιμασμένον ἀπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ,
- And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she.has there place having.been.prepared by the God,
- ἵνα ἐκεῖ τρέφωσιν αὐτὴν ἡμέρας χιλίας διακοσίας ἑξήκοντα.
- so.that there they.might.nourish of.her days thousand two.hundred sixty.
- 7: Καὶ ἐγένετο πόλεμος ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ, ὁ Μιχαὴλ καὶ οἱ ἄγγελοι αὐτοῦ τοῦ πολεμῆσαι μετὰ τοῦ δράκοντος.
- And occurred war in the heaven, the Michael and the angels of.him the warring against the dragon.
- καὶ ὁ δράκων ἐπολέμησεν καὶ οἱ ἄγγελοι αὐτοῦ,
- And the dragon warred and the angels of.him,
- 8: καὶ οὐκ ἴσχυσεν, οὐδὲ τόπος εὑρέθη αὐτῶν ἔτι ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ.
- and not was.strong, nor place was.found of.them still in the heaven.
- 9: καὶ ἐβλήθη ὁ δράκων ὁ μέγας, ὁ ὄφις ὁ ἀρχαῖος, ὁ καλούμενος Διάβολος
- And was cast the dragon the great, the serpent the old, the being.called devil
- καὶ ὁ Σατανᾶς, ὁ πλανῶν τὴν οἰκουμένην ὅλην ἐβλήθη εἰς τὴν γῆν,

- καὶ οἱ ἄγγελοι αὐτοῦ μετ' αὐτοῦ ἐβλήθησαν.

- 13: Καὶ ὅτε εἶδεν ὁ δράκων ὅτι ἐβλήθη εἰς τὴν γῆν, ἐδίωξεν τὴν γυναῖκα ἥτις ἔτεκεν τὸν ἄρσενα.
- And when saw the dragon that he.was.cast onto the earth, he pursued the woman who bore the male.
- 14: καὶ ἐδόθησαν τῇ γυναικὶ αἱ δύο πτέρυγες τοῦ ἀετοῦ τοῦ μεγάλου,
- And were given to.the woman the two wings of the eagle the great,
- ἵνα πέτηται εἰς τὴν ἔρημον εἰς τὸν τόπον αὐτῆς,
- so.that she.may.fly into the wilderness to the place of.her,
- ὅπου τρέφεται ἐκεῖ καιρὸν καὶ καιροὺς καὶ ἥμισυ καιροῦ ἀπὸ προσώπου τοῦ ὄφεως.
- where she.is.nourished there a time and times and half a time from face of the serpent.
- 15: καὶ ἔβαλεν ὁ ὄφις ἐκ τοῦ στόματος αὐτοῦ ὀπίσω τῆς γυναικὸς ὕδωρ ὡς ποταμόν,

- ἵνα αὐτὴν ποταμοφόρητον ποιήσῃ.

- 16: καὶ ἐβοήθησεν ἡ γῆ τῇ γυναικί, καὶ ἤνοιξεν ἡ γῆ τὸ στόμα αὐτῆς

- καὶ κατέπιεν τὸν ποταμὸν ὃν ἔβαλεν ὁ δράκων ἐκ τοῦ στόματος αὐτοῦ.
