I was born in Australia in 1998, and went to Indonesia when I was just a toddler. I believe that this trip is what sparked my journey to learning many languages. Throughout my life I have had the habit of changing the language settings on many of my favourite films and listening to them, an occasionally reading the subtitles along with them if possible. After watching "The Polar Express" in Icelandic, being the only language option other than English, I have had somewhat of an obsession with this strangely sounding and unusual spelt language. Since that time, I have strived to attend university at Háskóli Íslands (University of Iceland), and if that turns out to be impossible, at least to visit Iceland one day.
