  • The taxonomic system in Sefdaanian science is based on the seven levels of the loquent societies. These are, in descending order, people, trib, clan, settlement, family, sibling and individual. These corrspond roughly to the taxonimic divisions of phylum/division, class, order, family, tribe, genus and species.
  • Finer divisions are made with the use of prefixes: uf- = super-; ner = sub-; lųð = infra-; loȝ- = parv-.
