Convention

A convention is a gathering of people sharing an interest. The term is often abbreviated con among fans. There are fantasy, science fiction, role-playing and also conlang conventions. Conventions are a place where conworlders meet in person to exchange ideas, attend presentations, play games and indulge in other activities including performing or listening to filk or conmusic.
