The IJA, ITE and UMA end-tags
In actual fact three of the adjectives mentioned above are related to three end-tags For these three end-tags the head vowel of the end-tag takes presidence over the tail vowel of the noun. For example WAUGO = a wolf, WAUGIJA = a wolf cub If the end-tag consonant can fit in with the final consonant of the noun, they do so and two vowels are dropped. For example WAULO = dog. WAULJA = a pup. MEUJA = a kitten
