Maguera is the old Iletheride name for the planet of Valmante, prior to the Space Age when interplanetary contact was made possible with the advent of space technology. Post hoc, the Iletheride Conference of Astronomy decided at its 352nd annual meeting in 2226 CIE to adopt the Valmantean International Form autonym in lieu of the old traditional name of Maguera.
