Fisilo (fisil. Fisilo) is a planned international language created with the goal of combining simplicity and naturalness in language. The first version appeared in 2023, and the latest version is from December 2024.

In the language, the word "fisilo" means "simple." The pseudonym of the creator of the language is Wal FE. "Wal" means "whale" in Fisilo, and "FE" stands for Fisilo Estelist, which translates to "creator of Fisilo" in English.

History

The history of Fisilo begins when Wal FE decides to create the language Minelin (minel. mine - "my", lin - "language"), which serves as the precursor to Fisilo. After a few weeks of developing the language, the creator became dissatisfied with the concept and decided to create a new, revised language, initially named Fasilo. This happened in August 2023. Later, the name of the language was changed to Fisilo.

Pronunciation

In Fisilo, the stress is placed on the last vowel before the final consonant. Example:

bélo - beautiful

ánda - to go

ben - good

Alphabet

Fisilo's alphabet consists of 23 letters, with 18 consonants and 5 vowels.

A B C D E F G H I L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y

Most letters are pronounced as in the standard Latin alphabet, but there are some exceptions:

- C - always pronounced as the English K

- Q - pronounced as K'

- S - pronounced as either S or Z (no difference)

- X - pronounced as either Ks or Gz (also no difference)

Key Feature

A key feature of Fisilo is the particle ci (equivalent to "what", "which", or "that" in English). This particle can be easily omitted in a sentence without changing the meaning. As a result, word order becomes crucial in Fisilo. For example:

- hom(S) lira(V) libr(O) - "The human reads the book."

- hom(S) libr(S) lira(V) - "The book of the human reads." (There is a genitive used in the sentence)

- (ci) lira(A) hom(S) libr(V) - "The book of the reading human." In this example, the particle ci is omitted.
