Some nominals, however, are irregularly declined and do not correspond with regular declensions. This section do not include irregularly declined pronouns or numerals, it is already explained in Cernelian/Nominals.

Like Slavic languages, this Cernelian noun is suppletive. The singular forms derives from Proto-Finnic *inhiminen, while plural forms derives from *kansa "people". The suffix originally attached to this noun, -nię (← Proto-Finnic -inen) is also suppletive etymologically, see below.
