The Regional Councils of the Republic of Tūsīco were a system of local councils which focused on the internal affairs of the republic. It was a tiered system, ranging from individual provinces to super-provincial areas.

Intra-Regional Councils

The lowest level of council were the intra-regional councils. These were made up of city leaders, known as Pāpastan. These councils were concerned mostly with infrastructure and agricultural development.

Minor Inter-Regional Councils

The second level of the councils were the inter-regional councils. These councils were made up of the Pāpastan of 2-4 individual regions, and generally also the Pāpastan of important cities. These shared the main concerns of intra-regional councils, but were also involved in education and regional military forces.
