Hi, I'm Alan Swain. I am a Zompist.com/Mark Rosenfelder aficionado who enjoys buying books on conlangs and conlanging.

I enjoy a good taco and a good beer. I also think rokegh would be pretty delicious.

I used to create scripts that were ciphers of the English alphabet, then I learned other alphabets (and abjads, and abugidas), such as the Arabic, Hebrew, Greek, and Devanagari, aren't clones of English, and I got to thinking more about sounds. Then about languages as a whole. I've not (yet) produced something worth sharing, but I hope someday to have a conlang as revered as Verdurian, Teonaht, Brithenig, Dothraki, Klingon, Na'vi, Siwa, Okuna, Rikchik, and Kelen.
