- 16. When Herod realized that he had been deceived by the magi, he became furious. He ordered the massacre of all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had ascertained from the magi.
- Then Herod seeing that he.was.deceived by the magi, was.enraged greatly, and having.sent he.killed all the male.children which in Bethlehem and in all the districts of.it from two.years.old and under according.to the time which he.ascertained from the magi.
