Notes

  1. afx = affix, either a prefix or a suffix added to a root, e.g., éna, into + na̋a̋m̃a, boat = en̈a̋a̋m̃a, embark.
  2. cpd = a compound of two or more roots, e.g., þőlo, bridge + na̋a̋m̃o, boat = þolna̋a̋m̃o, pontoon.
  3. pol = a word with a different, but related sense to an original root, e.g., xűrgo, hold, < xűrgo, belly.
  4. These words are not numbered, as only original roots are numbered.
  5. At the end is a legend, Total: 24/2+0/8%. This means that there are 24 root words (lemmata) of which 2 are verbs and none are adjectives which can be treated as stative verbs. The last number means that eight percent of the vocabulary is verbs.
  6. Words in red indicate an object or concept that did not exist in Sefdaania.
