  • The taxonomic system in Sefdaanian science is based on the eight levels of the loquent societies. These are, in descending order, region, people, tribe, clan, settlement, family, sibling and individual. These corrspond roughly to the taxonimic divisions of kingdom, phylum/division, class, order, family, tribe, genus and species.
  • Finer divisions are made with the use of prefixes: uf- = super-; ner = sub-; lųð = infra-; loȝ- = parv-.
