Evansk (also known as Evvaansk or Evvaanskozsprakk) is a posteriori conlang. It is based primarily off of Old English and Proto-Germanic, with four cases and extensive verb conjugation. Evansk can be written using the Latin alphabet, or using quikscript. It contains the additional letters: Š/š, Ž/ž, and Č/č.

Pronunciation

Evansk has 23 consonant phonemes. The consonant inventory is roughly equivalent to that of modern German.

Bilabial Labiodental Alveolar Postalveolar Palatal Velar Uvular Glottal

Affricate pf ʦ ʧ
Fricative f  v s  z ʃ  ʒ h

The language lacks any real digraphs. Doubled consonants are used to make the preceding vowel short, where it can be (sprikku "to speak" ['sprɪ.ku]); otherwise, a vowel followed by more than one consonant is always short (sprikst "you speak" [sprɪkst]).

[ʧ] is represented by Č/č, [ʃ] by Š/š, and [ʒ] by Ž/ž.
