Evansk (also known as Evvaansk or Evvaanskozsprakk) is a posteriori conlang. It is based primarily off of Old English and Proto-Germanic, with four cases and extensive verb conjugation. Evansk can be written using the Latin alphabet, or using quikscript. It contains the additional letters: Š/š, Ž/ž, and Č/č.

Pronunciation

Evansk has 23 consonant phonemes. The consonant inventory is roughly equivalent to that of modern German.

Bilabial Labiodental Alveolar Postalveolar Palatal Velar Uvular Glottal
Plosive p  b t  d k  ɡ
Affricate pf ʦ ʧ
Fricative f  v s  z ʃ  ʒ h
Nasal m n ŋ
Approximant l j
Rhotic r

The language lacks any real digraphs. Doubled consonants are used to make the preceding vowel short, where it can be (sprikku "to speak" 'sprɪ.ku); otherwise, a vowel followed by more than one consonant is always short (sprikst "you speak" sprɪkst).
