Khangaþyagon Numbers

Khangaþyagon uses a base 10 counting system, within which multiples of 12 have a special status.

Cardinals

Cardinals are formed from the following roots.

When compounding, smaller-follows-larger indicates addition, larger-follows-smaller indicates multiplication -

Multiples of 12, up to 144, are expressed as such -

denallbrad
23
denþurn
24

Numbers between 60 and 69, or between 120 and 129, are expressed thus -

sintþurnkarv

allbþurntalsh
128

When used as adjectives, cardinals do not mark for grammatical number, as this is a lexical property of cardinals.

Ordinals

Ordinals are formed by adding the adjectivising suffix -ek to the cardinal. They behave as normal adjectives.

Multiplicity

Adding the adjectivising suffix -l to a cardinal forms the sense single, double, triple, n-fold. Adding the adverbial suffix -wan to this forms the sense once, twice, thrice etc.

Fractions

The denominator of a fraction is formed by compounding a cardinal with the noun ak, meaning part. By default, the numerator is 1. Otherwise, the denominator is put in the plural, and followed by a cardinal expressing the numerator.
