Histlang

A histlang is a conlang with an imaginary history, especially an historical phonology. Usually with the implication that the language's history, rather than the synchronic 'end product' is the main focus of interest for the creator of the conlang. Sometimes the histlang is part of a conlang family. A notable subcategory of histlangs is bogolangs.
