Sol novus (or just Sol, for short) is a G2 star, with a dimmer companion star Sol alter at a mean distance of 16 AU away.

Sol has 1.1 times the mass of the earth's sun, 1.23 its diameter, and about 150% of its luminosity.

Sol is at the centre of a solar system. One of its planets is Zebia, an earthlike planet, at a mean distance of 1.22 AU from it.
