4. As there is no /l/ in Japanese, the kana for re is used.
5. As Japanese lacks a <tsa>, the syllable <ツ>, <tsu>, represents /ʦ/.
6. As there is neither /ç/ nor /ʝ/ in Japanese, the kanas for ko and go are used respectively.
