Talk:Parseltongue

I must say that this is not the way Parseltongue is characterized in the Harry Potter books. As far as I understood it, Parseltongue is a language consisting entirely of the kind of hisses snakes utter naturally, and not phonetically human-like.

Yes, that is pretty much exactly how it is depicted in the movies. So I don't think 'no known form' is entirely right. Anyway, since the other language described on this page is not Parseltongue, it should probably be moved to Parseltongue-inspired or Fispa. —Muke Tever | ✎ 03:57, 11 April 2006 (PDT)
