It seems like there is some confusion regarding terms in the history of this Questionnaire, especially regarding the name. I.e., "Zahir" and "Zahar". David Zahir did indeed post an early version of the Questionnaire sometime before 2005. I edited it, in order to pare down some redundancies and placed it on the Conculture group in early 2005 as "Dr. Zahar's Ethnographical Questionnaire". It was later expanded to include several categories not found in the original, and some questions were re-ordered and reworded. Lastly, another reworking added considerably more questions to the Questionnaire, doubling the length at least, if not quite trebling it. This more recent version had also been posted to various other conculturing lists and groups.

As for the name, I appreciate altering the name from Zahar to Zahir, but the "Dr." should be dropped as well. David, as far as I know, has disavowed being a doctor of any kind. "Dr." goes with the name "Zahar", a fictional character from the World (Dr. Ellandwine Zaharam) who is the one credited for devising the Questionnaire *there*. It shouldn't go with the name "Zahir". Fair enough! I just saw the apparent discrepancy between 'Zahar' and 'Zahir' in the text, and when I went to the conculture group's files as referenced in the article I saw that the description was all 'Zahir'. By all means, change it to whatever makes the most sense. —Muke Tever | 10:53, 20 April 2011 (PDT)
