Planet Pii was an e-mail-based RPG Conworld started in the late 1990s. It eventually become more of a platform for developing fictional (depending on your definition) races (Pinclans) and languages, and all that good stuff that goes with those.
Planetpii started as the RPG world of some Finnish children in the late 1980s or early 1990s, one of whom—Natalia Laurila—was the founder of the mailing list and can take credit for starting interest in the world.
The group project was gradually abandoned by the mid naughties.
