The Miscellaneous-Other languages are a satirical language family proposal by Jörg Rhiemeier which parodies such long-range relationship proposals as Vasco-Caucasian which sweep up many of the language isolates and mini-families left over by more orthodox language classifications.
The Miscellaneous-Other family consists of all the languages that do not belong to any of the major language families of the world. Proto-Miscellaneous-Other has not successfully been reconstructed so far, but it is certainly a language with a huge phoneme inventory and proto-forms that are considerably longer than the attested forms in the descendant languages.
