The Ðanmar Empire was a Classical Period civilization of Aarð. The Empire was formed when a king of what was then the Kingdom of Ðanmar named himself Emperor shortly after his conquest of neighboring Yaþín. Eventually, Yaþinn language and culture became almost seamlessly integrated into the Imperial mainstream. (In fact, today the Yaþinn language is known only from early Ðanmarc grammars.)
