Portal Travel is a type of magic found in the Sandula conworld. Portals can be created in one of two ways. The most common way a portal can be created is in an accidental tear in space-time and the second is the creation of a summoning circle.
History of Portal Travel
The earliest example of portal travel occurred around 10,000 BCE. The original inhabitants of Sandula were 20,000 humans and thousands of types of fauna and flora transported from northern Africa and southern Europe to south-central Sandula. From there they dispersed to the west and east, some moving north in search of water.
The only other recorded instance of portals being used was in 1899, in a small house in London. Clueless cultists convened to summon Beelzebub. However, they accidentally opened a portal to Crenadria City. The portal self-stabilized, allowing Londoners to enter the city, and for Crenadrians to do the same.
