== Script talk ==
Please pardon my posting here, but I cannot reach the CBB from the network I use in my office. You, by posting "You wager incorrectly.", did exactly what I was wagering you would do...you posted again in the thread, persisting in derailing the thread from the actual topic of my script. Perhaps you did this as some sort of retaliation for my silly test of board rhetoric when you posted your Thai inspired script, or maybe you really think that Kenaya is impractical. In any case you don't seem to realize that I am well aware of how people will react to my scripts. For years the arguments about "impracticality", "unreadability", "similar characters", etc. have permeated the conlanging community. No one is more conscious of this than I am. however, the research I've done indicates that glyph-to-phone correspondence plays a key role. That is, a language like English, where a letter can have multiple sounds depending on surrounding letters, is more prone to cause readability issues even for people with no learning impairment. Whereas, a language like Spanish causes much fewer issues, even for dyslexics, as its glyph-to-phone ratio is fairly low. And both of these use the same alphabet! That's why Kenaya isn't impractical. I appreciate you wanting to comment on my script, and I value your opinion as a conlanger and a talented conscripter...but when I demonstrate that your viewpoint is founded on less-than-reasonable information, please don't resort to comments like ""Regardless this discussion is pointless"", as that serves neither of us and totally distracts from the betterment of the community. Thank you for reading and I hope this finds you well. [[User:Masako|masako]] ([[User talk:Masako|talk]])
