Rank and insignia
The rank structure of the armed forces of Vasca is based largely upon the various rank structures of Western European countries.
Commissioned officers rise through a series of six ranks, namely: Suteninte, Teninte, Comandor, Capitan, Brigador, Amiral.
There is also a special postion: Aidante, or Adjutant (a-1 in the image). This position is appointed and is usually filled by a Sarjento or Sarjento Xef.
Enlisted soldiers and non-commissioned officers rise through a series of five ranks, namely: Soldato (or Marinor), Caporal de Lansa (or Lansor), Caporal, Sarjento, Sarjento Xef.
